Best Awkward Christmas Photos | St. Louis Family Photography

I had to keep these under wrap until Christmas cards were mailed but now the cat’s out of the bag! So I had to share! This photoshoot was perfect and it started with a friend’s text asking if I could “take the most ridiculous images of them as possible”? Me: “Absolutely”. It’s fun to have friends pull me out of my zone of photographing newborns and families for a half hour to switch gears and create something completely different. Especially when its this fun!

Needless to say, all three of us laughed a LOT. When you pull up to couple in a car dressed like this, how could you not? A passer by popped in yelling at how he like the “Schweaty Balls” outfit… you’d have to be a fan of Saturday Night Live to understand that one. But his comment was totally on point. :) The difference is when we actually started the session, my vantage point from behind the camera was being able to pose them and see how ridiculous it looked before I pressed the shutter button. Let’s be honest, not shaking from laughing was the hard part of this entire session. I can’t wait to do this all over again next year!

I’ll probably be silent on all media while I enjoy the last few weeks of the year with my family and little guys. Note that I will be kicking off the new year and new decade (how is that even possible) with some fun, new opportunities that I’ve been bouncing around in my head.
