Downtown St. Louis City Fall Portraits

Fall is fast approaching here in the midwest… at least on the calendar! This time of year also brings with it the awesome chaos of family portrait season. I have noticed over the years, clients searching for the best foliage but in the same breath as for a different kind of setting. The first thing I recommend is a family portrait session in the city. St. Louis has an awesome downtown with all kinds of nooks and crannies. If downtown isn’t your thing are a ton of location just outside of the city too. You can get all doors with character, a sunset from the parking garage and a view of skyscrapers all within a few steps. It’s also a great way to bundle up in those cozy hate and sweaters to get a bold, unique look. Enjoy all the urban amenities have to offer!

This family are some of my nearest and dearest clients. Every year (and we’re going on six!), they trust me to take them on photography adventures. I am ever so grateful to be their family historian. To see them grow from my days of photographing weddings to the little guy starting kindergarten has been sooooo amazing! As you can see we laugh… a lot! Fun is my middle name. Ha! I really do have THE best families for clients in all of St. Louis.
