Sweet Family of Four Fall Portraits | St. Louis Family Photographer

Autumn is slowly creeping in on us… and I love it! Taking some time to blog some of my favorite sessions from last fall because I’m THE worst when it comes to blogging! When looking at what to wear for St. Louis fall family portraits, make it something that suits your family’s personality. If you’ll be uncomfortable in dresses, then throw on some cute jeans and jewelry. The great thing about portraits is that you get the chance to make them unique to YOU. Incorporate the colors that you love. Add prints and layers. If you’re thinking about hanging a large portrait in one of your living spaces (or display many prints throughout your home) I often recommend incorporating neutrals in your color palette so that the prints compliment your decor. Whatever you choose when it comes to how you dress, just don’t stress! See what I did there?!? The purpose of family portraits are to capture your family just as they are in this moment… with all the love, laughs and giggles!
